SEND
At Heacham Infant and Nursery School we promote an inclusive ethos within which we aim to meet the needs of all our students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and seek to ensure that they fulfil their potential.
We are an inclusive school with a wide range of individual needs and specialist provision. We use a graduated approach to supporting children with additional needs which identifies support when it is needed which helps children become independent and confident. Our SEND pupils are happy, well included and make great progress, sometimes in smaller steps. Through our inclusive admissions policy we make sure that children with additional needs can be admitted to our school if it is your chosen preference. We also use our Pupil Premium Funding to support all children with quality training and intervention.
